about

[k]racktroni[k] became aware of Australian musical enigma Snog via his stunning album 'Relax into the abyss', from whence 'Real Estate Man' was culled in order to get it a UK vinyl release. The stunning electro-funk original version was subsequently set upon by a heavyweight team of remixers, with predictably superb results.

Volum's mix is a lesson in precise sound design and synthwork, and has his trademark bass-heavy groove factor in full effect, augmented by superb abstract funk from the synths & samples.

Sir Real's mix starts ominous and epic before diverting into a vacuum-packed funk-fest, complete with Kraftwerk-esque bleeps and breathing and an anthemic breakdown.

Super Awesome Electro Friends Forever! (aka Justin Maxwell & Cynthia Bruyns) deconstruct the original to make a tight percussive electro workout that twists and turns in all the right places...

[k]racktroni[k] Birmingham, UK

However over the years it grew beyond that, and was proud to release music from artists such as Eon, Snog, Bass Kittens, Al ('Tourettes') Storey and many more... ... more
