about

Sir Real's first solo outing on [k]racktroni[k], and it showcases the versatility that he will continue to bring to the label. Title track 'Breathing' is deep as you like, featuring 'Tour de France' style breathing, and sub-aquatic bleep bass. Add a very un-electro piano stab, and the vocal refrain of "I'm breathing" from Paul C, and you can see this isn't setting itself up to be your typical electro 12".

Xess takes us deeper into the realms of electro-funk with prowling bass and off-kilter drums, whilst Meccalectro is all booming kicks, twanging bass and screeching stabs...

Fangshi remix 'Breathing' into a tight and sparse electro groover, complete with acid squelches and poly-bass riffing.

[k]racktroni[k] Birmingham, UK

However over the years it grew beyond that, and was proud to release music from artists such as Eon, Snog, Bass Kittens, Al ('Tourettes') Storey and many more... ... more
